It’s been a week since the first experience of ninabu-ing with babies and we still feel great happiness, tingling, and immense satisfaction with what we’ve all experienced together.

Ninabu is ready!

Ninabu is coming!

We have made a performance that motivates us to focus what is now, to what it is, which tells us to stop, to be there and accept, to enjoy this moment.

It is so wonderful to see moms, dads, grandmothers and other caregivers watching their babies with great attention and joy, allowing them to discover the world (of ninabu) and creating new experiences. Babies are fantastic, we can learn so much from them just by watching them travelling the world. To let the baby be what it is, that’s what Ninabu wants, to carry that with you after the show, that’s what Ninabu wants.

Ninabu is all that.

Ninabu is a safe place to stay in the moment.

Ninabu is special.

Ninabu is ordinary and special cause of that.

Ninabu reveals the most powerful thing in us.

WHICH PLANET ARE YOU?  had its third residency this time supported by Island Connect project. Nikolina Komljenović and Irma Unušić developed more this artistic idea from 5 to 18 August 2021. inside of C.I.N.E. in Sineu, Mallorca. They continued to work on this idea of a participatory dance performance for young audience.

This concept started to develop on Touche(ed) Artistic and Moving Lab for choreographers organised by Generator Platform in summer and autumn 2020. and it was focused on the topic of “touch”. It continued in a frame of European project Island Connect. 

The idea starts from the experience of touch that takes us to extremes - understanding, feelings and needs - in the context of today. Listening to the effects of the dichotomy of simultaneous isolation and immersion into a new space of research and connection. In this phase of the work, the artists explore how ideas and emotions are transmitted through somatic movement taken through the space shaping atmospheres and engage creativity and imagination in the early years. Artists invite participants to join in the play and explore with them.

At the end of the residency artists had made a public presentation of the work in progress and it was well accepted by the audience.
