THE SECRET GARDEN (12+)

The Secret Garden is a soft and inclusive pop-up dance piece designed for young people (12+) and their school groups. It transforms a regular classroom into a space for imagination, emotion, and sharing. Through illustration and contemporary dance, the performance explores the sensory and emotional world of students, encouraging awareness of their inner safe space.

Developed through international residencies (Kliker Festival, Generator Platform, Island Connect), the performance was shaped by workshops with high school students in Croatia and Denmark. These encounters revealed how disconnected many felt from their school environment, leading the team to focus on inner safety and emotional well-being.

By evoking personal memories and feelings, The Secret Garden invites young people to discover their own calm space—where they can simply be, feel safe, and grow freely.
